For eight weeks, I was trained on the following subjects: First Aid Rifle Marksmanship Drill & Ceremony Hand-to-Hand Combat Physical Fitness Military Law Bayonet Combat Chemical Warfare Basic Infantry Tactics Kitchen Police Guard Duty Geneva Convention 1967 December Advanced Individual Training Artillery Operations & Intelligence School Fort Sill, Oklahoma During this eight weeks, I was trained on the following subjects: First Aid Crew-Served Weapons Drill & Ceremony Physical Fitness Military Law Kitchen Police Map Reading Radio Communications Mathematics Fire Direction Intelligence Ballistics Digital Computers Forward Observation Handling Prisoners 1968 March Overseas Duty Bravo Battery, 7th Battalion, 17th Artillery Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division Village of Pamkogi, Republic of Korea During this period of service, I participated in the following operations: Member of search team to capture enemy agents involved in the Blue House Raid Fire direction computer operator Manager of base movie theatre Coach of the battery basketball team Learned how to drive Assistant to forward observer Pulled guard duty on the D.M.Z. Rescue mission to save the local village from flooding
